Terraria 1.2 update goes live for console versions on April 17

Terraria developer Re-Logic has announced that the game's major 1.2 update will go live on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PS Vita on April 17. It will be free to all current owners of the game.

The update will include all the usual bug fixes and technical improvements. There will also be significant changes to graphics, gameplay, and mechanics, as well as additional recipes and items. You can find a full list of changes here.

The update has been available for PC owners since last October.
