Tekken Card Tournament 2.0 drops in April, Hwoarang & new features incoming

Tekken Card Tournament 2.0 is kicking its way to browsers, iOS, Amazon and Android in April. Namco's update will see Taekwondo fighter Hwoarang added to the fight roster, along with a list of new features and cards.

In a press release sent to VG247 today, publisher Namco Bandai confirmed that Tekken Card Tournament has passed 6 million downloads, and that the April update will see Hwoarang bring a batch of new character effect to battles.

There will also be a new character viewer and item shop, team features including team buffs, and special tournaments with new, specific entry criteria. We'll have more once Namco starts giving up the specifics.

You can download the current version of Tekken Card Tournament now via iTunes, Amazon and Google Play. The browser edition can be played for free here.
