Tekken 7 is getting frame data display for the pro players

Tekken 7 is getting a feature that the game's top players will be able to take full advantage of.

Frame data display is coming to Tekken 7 with season 3, marking the first time that this data has been accessible in the game's training mode. Counting frames is a major part of the competitive fighting scene, and this new option will give players easier access to useful information.

This news comes via Mark 'MarkMan' Julio, a member of the TEKKEN Project team, via the below tweet.

A few other features are being added too, including punishment practice, updated sample combos, and a new feature that will analyse your replays to give you tips on how to improve (which is a seriously tremendous idea). Serious Tekken players will have more tools available to them soon.

The third season is also adding some new characters, including the upcoming Leroy Smith. Learning them inside out should be a bit more straightforward thanks to these new tools.
