Team Ninja boss hints at more Virtua Fighter appearances for Dead or Alive 5

Team Ninja head Yosuke Hayashi has hinted in this week's Famitsu there may be more characters from the Virtua Fighter series that'll appear in Dead or Alive 5.

It comes as it was announced this week that VF face Akira was confirmed for the game.

In the magazine, Hayashi said he had to "ask" Sega to get the approval, and now its gotten through this much trouble to get Akira into the game, he may not be the only one.

That said, he didn't refer by name if he meant Virtua Fighter or other franchises.

Dead or Alive 5 was confirmed for a September release last night. It'll launch on PS3 and 360.
