Take a look at Gemini Jester, one of the new Exotics added with Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris today

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris brings us some new Exotics to play with. let's take a look at one.

There are a stack of new Exotics in Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris. As part of our Destiny 2 guide, we're here with details, including some gameplay footage from Arekkz of one of these new additions: the Gemini Jester.

If you're keen, you can see all new Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris Hunter Exotics on our updated list.

Anyway, the Gemini Jester is a Hunter Exotic equipped in the legs slot. It's not much to look at, to be honest - purple, with a Jade Rabbit logo and a pair of shorts over the top. Bit odd, and I'm not sure the Ornament improves it. You can get the Gemini Jester from random exotic engram drops in Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris, which is nice - no difficult quest required.

The Gemini Jester's unique perk is called Misdirection, and it buffs Dodge, the Hunter Class ability, so that dodging disorients nearby enemies and temporarily removes their radar.

This gives Hunters a chance to inflict debuffs, similar to Smoke Bomb, the Titan's grenades, or some of the best grenade launchers in Destiny 2. You'll see in the footage below how it confuses heck out of even Majors, giving you time to get to safety or hammer them without fear of immediate consequences. Finally, a bit more motivation for PvE players to learn to use Dodge!

In PvP, this Exotic has all sorts of possibilities, as radar control is one of the keys to high end play and one of the reasons Hunters were so favoured in Season 1. Unfortunately you need to be pretty close to an enemy to get it to work, so you may still be better of with invisibility depending on your style of play.
