The latest figures from trade association UKIE indicate the UK video games market is valued at £3.266 billion, and accounts for 40.2 per cent of the entertainment market in the region.

According to MCV, the first quarter of this year has been a record for UK games in terms of sales.ChartTrack figures for the first three months of the 2007 show that sales are up over £100 million year-on-year.
