Resident Evil 6 pre-orders hit 380,000 in Japan, according to Media Create figures, besting the previous pre-order record holder in the series, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.
Capcom has announced Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is now available for PC in North America and Europe and it supports NVIDIA 3D Vision for those who have it. The PC version contains the same content available in the console version, and will run you around $49.99, depending on the retailer.
Media Create has reported Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City moved through 80% of its debut shipment in Japan last week. The title sold 252,525 copies on PS3 and 16,285 copies on Xbox 360. Broken down by percentages, 85.48% of shipment was on PS3 and 83.41% on Xbox 360. Thanks, Siliconera.
Slant Six’s Mike Kerr has said that while studio would have liked Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City ti have received better review scores, the firm is confident it achieved what Capcom asked it to accomplish with the title.
