Guinness World Records has announced some of the biggest feats achieved by gaming franchises.Of course, you know that the GTA franchise stole the show, but Resident Evil ends up on the list as well, so it’s not just an all Rockstar affair.For the “record,” they’re all after the break.
According to Destructoid, new Guinness world records have been set for Tapper and Ms Pacman in New York.Michael Przybocki won the record for fastest time to beat five boards on Tapper with a time of 1’20″43, while Daniel Dujinc beat five boards on Ms. Pac-Man in a record time of 2’05″80.No tap dancing was involved.

Guinness will launch the US edition of Guinness World Records: Gamer’s Edition 2008 on March 11, Guinness has announced. The book will include records such as “highest grossing day one sales” (Halo 3) and the fastest ever completion time for Super Mario Bros. (five minutes, apparently). See here.
