In the middle of a pandemic, SAG-AFTRA just made it harder for actors to qualify for health coverage
Like everyone in the middle of the hellworld of 2020, video game actors are struggling to find work.
“I was never a person who wanted to be set on fire,” Richard Dorton, a mocap actor and stunt performer who works in television and video games tells me, as if we’re talking about how he takes his coffee. “I used to do car stuff. Crash cars.”
“Do you want me to do it like the tactical way? Do you want me to do it the redneck way? Do you want me to just come in like an amateur?”
Reports and Twitter activity are suggesting that several prominent video game voice actors may go on strike to protest for better conditions and pay.
