Tacos, Bluegrass, & Videogames event is this weekend, more tickets on the way

Tacos, Bluegrass, & Videogames is a new gaming showcase event starting this weekend in Scotland. It's currently sold out, but there's more tickets on the way, should you wish to guzzle beer, play games and eat Mexican treats.

In a press release sent to VG247 today, BAFTA award-winning studio Lucky Frame - of Bad Hotel and Gentlemen! fame - informed us that the event will kick off this Saturday, January 11 at 7pm, within Pilrig Church, Edinburgh.

More tickets will go on sale at the event page before the big day and will run you £5. Entry gets you two beers, tacos, live Bluegrass music and of course, lots of Scottish games to play. The games will be presented in a range of odd custom-built cabinets ranging from coffee tables to camping tents.

Lucky Frame director Yann Seznec - who will appear in the next issue of VG247 Scotland on January 17 - said in a statement, “There are plenty of standard video game events where you can go and play the latest blockbuster hit on a standard console. We want to explore a new way of experiencing games, bringing exciting experiments and wonderful interactions to a mainstream audience through the medium of bluegrass and tacos.”

Will you be there? Let us know below.
