Switch Online launch date set for next week in both North America and Europe

The Nintendo Switch Online service will go live next week, first in North America and in Europe the following day.

Nintendo has announced a Switch Online launch date for North America. The service will go live next week on September 18.

It will go live in Europe the following day on September 19.

A seven-day free trial will be available for all Nintendo Account holders once service begins.

When Nintendo Switch Online goes live, online multiplayer in games will be locked behind the subscription. The service will run customers $3.99 per month, $7.99 quarterly, or $19.99 per year.
