Super Stardust HD to get 'Impact Mode' DLC

Sony has announced some new Super Stardust HD DLC for spring release, titled the "Impact Mode."
The US Playstation Blog says Impact Mode is based around slamming your ship into meteors and enemies rather than shooting them.
Your weapons are removed and replaced with an "experimental new matter-to-energy boost engine technology" which means that you can boost forever as long as you're smashing into more enemies and obstacles.
The mode will also allow for higher score multipliers for boosting for long periods of time, and should make for some exciting new leaderboard challenges.
It'll arrive on the Playstation Store sometime this spring.
