In order to unlock a certain character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, you’ll need to make it past the Gourmet Food Race. Here’s how to do it.

One of the most substantial new additions is the World of Light single-player mode. It presents players with a large map which they must unveil by awakening characters. Super Smash Bros Ultimate Food Race
You’ll encounter the Gourmet Food Race in the later stages of Spirits Mode. It is a maze of sorts, which tasks you with choosing the correct food dishes in order to make it to the other side. You’ll need to do this if you want to unlock King Dedede which, let’s be honest—of course you do. We’ve listed the full solution below:

Once you’ve entered the Food Race minigame you’ll be shown a series of branching paths with various food items scattered around. This is the minigame, choosing the right food. It’s not exactly clear what you need to do, but luckily we’ve done it so you don’t have to. Just head for the following food items.

Once you’ve completed the Gourmet Food Race in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, you’ll fight King Dedede. It’s the only way you’ll unlock him in World of Light, and you’ll also get some SP and support Spirits for doing so.
