Gold and silver versions of Super Mario Amiibo could be on the way

CPSIA certificates have popped up showing gold and silver versions of Super Mario Amiibo.
The certificates state the Amiibo were manufactured in December and January, but Nintendo has yet to announced the figures.
Both The Tanooki and Destructoid suggest the the Amiibo could possibly be handed out for Elite Status Club Nintendo members as a final hurrah so to speak.
Nintendo announced last month it would be closing its Club Nintendo loyalty program this year, and in its place a new program would be launched.
