Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury coming to Switch

Nintendo announced Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury for Switch today as part of its Mario-centric Direct.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is an enhanced version of Super Mario 3D World, which originally launched for the Wii U system, featuring co-op gameplay both online and through local multiplayer in a variety of levels.

If you aren't familiar with the original, in it, you will work together with friends to "compete for the crown" in the what was the first multiplayer 3D Mario game.

In the Super Mario 3D World game, you were able to choose between Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, or Toad. It also introduced the cat transformation, which allowed players to run on all fours, pounce on enemies, attack in midair, or climb up walls and goal poles.

Additional details about what new things Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury has to offer will be revealed later.

The game releases for Nintendo Switch on February 12, 2021.

New amiibo figures Cat Mario and Cat Peach will also be released at the same time as the game.
