Studies reiterare improved cognition effects of shooters

A new feature in Scientific American Mind details a number of studies which demonstrate links between playing shooter games and improvement in various mental faculties such as eyesight, spatial reasoning, spatial focus, visual acuity and decision-making. None of the studies are especially new but taken together paint an interesting picture; Polygon has a full report on the magazine's findings.
