Strike Suit Zero reaches its Kickstarter goal

Mech action game Strike Suit Zero has officially surpassed its original Kickstarter funding goal.

The Kickstarter launched a little over two weeks ago, with a desired target of $100,000. Now, the project has gotten 2,856 backers to pledge a combined $109,875 as of this writing.

About the accomplishment, developer Born Ready Games said: "The enthusiasm that's been shown for not just Strike Suit Zero, but the space combat genre in general has been overwhelming, and we'd like to thank each and every one of you for your pledges." They've released a special thank you video and some new screenshots to celebrate too, which you can check out here.

There's still 13 days left to fund the project, though, and Born Ready has added another stretch goal of $180,000 to the funding process. If it can get there, the dev will add Mac and Linux support. Another stretch goal of $130,000, which will add mod tools if reached, had already been announced.

Thanks, Destructoid.
