Steel Diver: Subwars age-rated in Australia, Nintendo remains quiet

Steel Diver: Subwars has been age-rated in Australia, suggesting a reveal or release is on the way. Nintendo has previously suggested that the a free-to-play Steel Diver game was in the works, and it looks like this could be it.

Now, The Nintendo Channel has spotted this Steel Diver: Subwars age classification, which was posted by the Australian Classification Board.

The original Steel Diver served as a 3DS launch title, but received a lukewarm reaction at the time. Regardless, Nintendo told investors that the Steel Diver IP would be included in its free-to-play experiments back in June. Check out the original confirmation here.

It's unclear if the game is coming to Nintendo 3DS or Wii U.
