Forget about that fully 3D nonsense, Bionic Commando Rearmed is the revamp you want. Thanks to Steam's regular mid-week madness deals, you can have it, too, for the thrifty price of $4.99.

Bionic Commando Rearmed is a faithful but lovingly prettified remake of the classic 1988 NES Bionic Commando.

It's a jolly little romp and far more popular in its PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox LIve Arcade versions than Capcom's major overhaul, the third-person adventure version of 2009.

There's a sequel due some time this year.
