State of Decay Breakdown DLC gameplay footage surfaces

State of Decay's new expansion, Breakdown, has less story and tougher gameplay; this fresh gameplay footage shows off the new content in action.

In the preview below, posted on Eurogamer, the new content is described as kind of like a "new game plus". Played on the same map, it has players surviving increasingly difficult scenarios; when finished with one world, players locate, repair and stock an RV, load up with survivors, and then move onto the next. The RV spawns in a new place each time.

Players begin as a random character but can unlock new playable survivors by performing various feats, but the NPCs you'll find each time are randomly selected. Developer Undead Labs says the remixed version is pretty hard, and the team itself can only get to the eighth world.

Breakdown launches on November 22 for $7, on both PC and Xbox Live.
