Stardock and former employee drop lawsuits against one another

A sexual harassment suit brought against Stardock and a counter suit against the plaintiff by the game developer have both been dropped.

The harassment suit was filed in 2010 by Alexandra Miseta against Stardock CEO Brad Wardell citing a "hostile work environment", inappropriate e-mails and "repeated and near-daily comments, innuendos, advances, and other offensive conduct of a sexual nature" by Wardell.

The company filed a counter suit alleging Miseta stole a laptop and deleted company documents prior to leaving the development studio.

The settlement saw no money exchanging hands, and the only reparation noted was an apology letter written to Wardell by Mistea.

"Essentially, we agreed to dismiss each other's cases—to drop our cases—in exchange for her apologizing to us," Wardell told Kotaku.

"Once we've received that, we feel vindicated."
