StarCraft II torrented 2.3 million times

Never saw this coming.

TorrentFreak's reporting that StarCraft II has been pirated a brain-bursting 2.3 million times via BitTorrent.

"The most popular torrent file for this 7.19Gb game has been downloaded 2.3 million times, totalling a massive 15.77 Petabytes," said the site.

Despite Blizzard's best efforts to deter piracy by attempting to force players to connect to Battle.Net to play, the game is responsible for the most data move through BitTorrent, apparently ever.

The game was released worldwide on July 27 this year.
