StarCraft 2: Blizzard already working on Protoss content

Bizzard is already working on Legacy of The Void, the third instalment of StarCraft 2, even as the clock ticks down towards the second episode's release.

The news comes via a Reddit AMA, helpfully collated by Blizzard, in which game director Dustin Browder was asked about the Protoss-themed followup.

"We have started on Legacy story, scripts and missions," he confirmed.

Browder said the StarCraft team at Blizzard is composed of more than 80 developers as well as "hundreds" of QA, cinematic and support staff, so given that Heart of Swarm is complete, it's no wonder the team has moved onto the next instalment.

Heart of the Swarm is the second episode of StarCraft 2, and focuses on the Zerg. Expect it on March 12; the the initial Terran-focused Wings of Liberty will be updated with many of the new features introduced in the expansion, free of charge.
