StarCraft 2 birthday celebrations give 25% XP boost to all

StarCraft 2's birthday celebrations are running this week and with it a 25% XP Boost to all players. Wait, aren't people supposed to give the birthday person presents, not the other way around?

Over on the Blizzard blog, the studio celebrated the July 27, 2010 launch of StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty and confirmed that the XP boost will run until July 27, which is this coming Saturday.

The post reads, "For a limited time, we’ve increased the XP gains you get when you play StarCraft II by 25%. It’s the perfect time to log in and play some Multiplayer, or Versus A.I., or Training Mode games. Perhaps you’d like to level up the race you don’t play the least often. Now’s the time!"

Players can also play as all three of StarCraft 2's races free of charge this week to give them a punt. There's also a third birthday wallpaper to celebrate the occasion. We've got it below.

Are you still playing StarCraft 2? Let us know below.
