Star Wars: The Old Republic F2P shop live on test server

BioWare has enabled the Cartel Market, a microtransaction shop in support of the MMORPG's upcoming free-to-play option, on the public test server. According to the test server's patch notes, all participating players have been set to free-to-play and will be periodically awarded a small amount of coins to aid in testing. If you're keen to check it out, be sure to look through the known issues before firing off complaints. Satr Wars: The Old Republic is expected to implement its free-to-play membership offering by the end of the year.
