Respawn may already be working on a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

It looks like the makers of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are wasting no time getting to work on a sequel.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order developer Respawn has posted three new job openings in the past few weeks. All three jobs are specifically for the Star Wars Team, as their respective pages notes.

Spotted by Gamesradar, the listings are for a senior character artist, a level designer, and a senior software engineer.

The job descriptions make it very clear that those accepted will be working on a Star Wars game, though it has no indication of whether this is a sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order or a different project.

As the site notes, EA holds the rights to Star Wars console games until 2023, so there's every opportunity for the publisher to invest in more Star Wars games.

Beyond that, Jedi: Fallen Order itself has been successful, with EA calling it "the fastest-selling digital launch" for a Star Wars game. The game also ranked at number two in the November NPD.

It's unlikely a sequel will be announced so close to the original's release, so it may be a while yet before EA is ready to reveal details officially.
