Tour the Star Wars: Battlefront planets and gaze upon some Hoth concept art

EA has launched an interactive website which allows you to explore the planets of Star Wars: Battlefront. Also, below the fold are a couple bits of Hoth concept art.

The interactive website also gives you a look at some of the vehicles, gameplay modes, weapons and more.

Meanwhile over on the PlayStation Blog, senior environment artist Pontus Ryman discusses how the team went about creating the freezing landscapes of Hoth and all of its snow.

Ryman said the team's goal with Hoth was to develop a map with loads of player interaction and immersion in order for people to "feel connected to the planets."

He also briefly touches upon the team's excursion to The Empire Strikes Back's original filming location at Finse in Norway, how snow on on the game map will gradually build up on the characters and weapons, and more.

Go have a read and play around on the website linked at the top. The Hoth concept art is below. We think it's new. It's hard to tell anymore, honestly.

Star Wars: Battlefront is out on November 17 in North America and November 20 in Europe.
