Star Wars: Battlefront 2 EA and Origin Access trials now available to download and play

If you have an EA or Origin Access subscription, you can start downloading the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 trial right now.

It became available a few minutes ago, after a rumour suggested it would release at midnight instead. Available through Origin and the EA Access app on Xbox One, the Star Wars: Battlefront 2 trial lets you play up to ten hours.

There's no limit on the maps and modes you can play in multiplayer, but you will only have access to a couple of missions from the single-player. Details are scarce at the moment, but we'll update you as soon as we hear more.

The download is pretty big, at 55.7GB on PC, and 52GB on Xbox One. As soon as you're done downloading, you can start playing as servers are live now. As with all EA / Origin Access trials, all your saves and multiplayer progress carries over to the full game when you buy it.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is out November 17 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Deluxe Edition owners get to play on November 14.
