Square shows off a bit of Moon Diver for PSN and XBL - now with trailer

Square Enix has released some new information on the side-scrolling game Moon Diver from Feel Plus.

According to Siliconera, the game takes place in 2081 and evil forces have brought inanimate objects to life. Players will fight off everything from cars to cups as Moondivers who have been tasked with handling the strange situation.

Players will try to accomplish high scores as they execute chain kills,

Some of the game's moves and modes were shown off on Square's downloadable games Facebook page, but Siliconera has the information as well. Players can perform flips, cling, slide, double jump and even use a charge attack.

Once called Necromachina, Moon Diver includes four-player co-op and gives you five different ninjas to choose from. There's a trailer below courtesy of Gamespot.

No set release date has been announced, but it is slated for a spring release on XBL and PSN.
