Square: No plans to release Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep on PSN

Square Enix has confirmed Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep will only be released in UMD format.
Sorry PSP Go users.
While it's been rumored for quite some time to be the case (via IGN) Square has confirmed it to be true, finally, without explaination, only saying this:
"Square Enix, Inc. currently has no plans to release Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep through the PlayStation Store."
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep will hit retail on September 7 in the US and September 10 in the UK.
