Square looking into Vita version of Final Fantasy XI

Square Enix's Hiromichi Tanaka has said that the company is looking into a Vita version of Final Fantasy XI. No, that's not a typo of IX or even XIV. He said 11.

Tanaka said in Famitsu this week that nothing is concrete, but it is being investigated.

But the chances of a PS3 version are slim to nil. He added that using the PS3's characteristics made it difficult to port it to the system.

Square Enix has Final Fantasy XIV for PS3, but we've not heard anything on that since the start of the year.
