Square Enix looking to revive certain titles, says Wada

Yoichi Wada has said its looking to revisit certain titles from the Square Enix library and reboot them in the same way its been done for Tomb Raider.

CEO Wada said in a investors Q&A - where he had admitted that it was looking at Wii U as a possible platform for Dragon Quest X - made mention to the fact that the Crystal Dynamics reboot of TR does not have a number on it.

He says this is due to the company looking into the possibility of bring back a certain number of past titles, adding it was always investigating how to revisit them.

As well as Tomb Raider, Square Enix is introducing a new Deus Ex in August with Human Revolution, as well as bringing back Thief with the fourth installment in the series. Both games are being developed at Eidos Montreal.

There's also been the small possibility of bringing back Legacy of Kain.
