Square announces Final Fantasy XIV Legacy and Welcome Back campaigns

Square-Enix has announced new promotions for current members and one which it hopes to lure you back to Final Fantasy XIV should you have been away a while. The first will give those who have purchased a 90-day sub as of January 6 a discount of $9.99 for 30 days as well as 40 player slots. Legacy members receive a chocobo mount with version 2.0 and their names listed in the update's credits if they so wish. Then, there's the Welcome Back promotion for those with inactive account allowing them to come back for free between May 9 and May 20 with a 10-day trial.
