Spore Creature Creator price to be taken off full game's cost

According to this Ripten piece, those in the UK that both pre-order Spore and buy the Creature Creator on July 17 will have the cost of the initial package removed from the full price of the game.

"In the UK, anyone pre-ordering the full Spore game, due out on September 5, through either EA Store or via selected retailers (GAME and Zavvi) will get a disc containing 100 percent of the CC (Creature Creator)," said an EA spokesperson.

"The only cash they will part with is whatever the pre-order deposit is (typically a £5). This money is deducted from the retail price of Spore when it arrives in September, meaning that the full CC is to all intents and purposes free in the UK."

Bargain. If making little aliens and watching them run around is your "bag", you really can't say fairer than that.
