Splinter Cell Conviction - the first 20 minutes in video

splintercell4

Splinter Cell Conviction finally releases in the UK today, having been in the works at Ubi Montreal for four years. Should you buy it? Watch the movie below to find out.

The title's been catching high review scores this week, as it went on sale a few days ago in the US. Lots of 9s and high 8s; and a 7 from Eurogamer yesterday.

The video below shows the first full level and a good chunk of the second, so, very obviously, there are spoilers here. You'll see control training, marking and assassinating enemies, using a mirror under doors, swapping and upgrading weapons and loads more.

This is taken from the Campaign, obviously. There's nothing here of multiplay or co-op. It's shot from a 360 retail build.

Have a watch. Then read Johnny's interview with creative director Max Béland. Then go and buy it. It is Friday, after all.
