Splinter Cell Conviction "on hold"

Whoops. According to this CVG report, by way of UK mag Xbox 360 World, Ubisoft's Splinter Cell Conviction has been put on hold and has gone back the the drawing board.

The magazine claims the game may not launch until 2010.
