Splinter Cell: Blacklist combat mixes karate, jujitsu, kung fu and more

Splinter Cell: Blacklist footage shown so far has Sam Fisher pulling off some brutal combat moves. This developer diary chats with combat consultant Kevin Secours about the creation of Fisher's fluid mixed martial arts stlyings.

Secours, who provides mo-cap for Fisher and other characters, says his aim was to provide "unmatched flow". Also: multiple ways of breaking necks, a new kind of knife, non-lethal knock outs, and more.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in northern spring 2013. There's plenty of gameplay footage out there for you to catch a glimpse of some of these mo-cap moves in action.
