Spelunky mod turns game into a Metroid tribute, see Samus in action here

Spelunky modder Joey4track is in the process of putting together a new mod that transforms Derek Yu's cave-exploring meat grinder into a Metroid game, complete with purple rocks, neon enemies and of course, Samus Arran.

Note the sweet retro Metroid music and sprite swaps from the series. The mod is still in development now. We'll have more when it's done.
