A source close to Rockstar has told us that Microsoft is "wrong" to expect the 360 GTA IV DLC in 2008.

"It'll be in January or February," we were told today.

No official release date for the extra content, which is thought to be substantial, has been given as yet.

The content was rumoured this week to be launching in November.

Microsoft is currently saying the "first episodes" of the game's DLC will ship this "autumn."

Take-Two itself has officially said that the content will arrive in its first quarter of its next fiscal year, running from November 2008 to January 2009.

Fingers and thumbs. Peters and Pauls. Hopefully we'll have something official soon.
