Sony: 12 Gifts of Christmas PS Plus promotion starts, Sonic 2 free for 48 hours

Sony has announced that starting today, Plus subscribers will be able to download one title every two days from the PlayStation Store, for free until December 25.
Much like Sony's 12 Deal of Christmas, the promotion will consist of eight PSN titles, two minis and two PSone Classics. The list of titles available for 48 hours will be posted on the PS Store, and on the PS Blog.
Today's gift is Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which will be available to download until December 3. After that, something new will be made available.
