Sony wants ideas for minis game via the Gamocracy project

Sony wants folks to help Swedish developer The Bearded Ladies Consulting make a PlayStation Network game.

Called the Gamocracy project, the game asked for is an action platformer which will be released as a mini on PSN.

"Every Friday from now, for eight weeks, we will post a new challenge to the community on the official PlayStation forums," said EU PlayStation Blog manager James Gallagher. "The following Friday, the top 5-10 submissions will be presented in an open vote on The Bearded Ladies Facebook page, which will last until Sunday.

"The winning submission will be included in the game and the creator will be credited in the game credits."

The first challenge presented, is for folks to come up with a story and a hero to star in it who has some sort of special ability.

The winner of this challenge will be credited as game designer, but any ideas that grab Sony or the Bearded Ladies might end up in the game. All ideas pulled from community members will be credited.
