Sony reveals new wired headset for PS4

Sony has lift the lid off a new wired headset for PlayStation 4, dubbed the Silver Wired Stereo Headset. The headset will be the closest you can get to a wired version of the Gold Wireless Headset.

Sony unenvied the headset today through the PS Blog, adding that it will launch this fall, and will be compatible with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. A 3.5mm jack will also be included, letting you use it with PS Vita or any other device that takes 3.5mm.

The new wired headset, priced at $69.99, will feature 7.1 virtual surround sound, a retractable boom mic and in-line volume and mic controls.

Sony also announced that a very limited run of the Gold Wireless Stereo Headset, in Glacier White -similar to the colour of the PS4 in the Destiny bundle- will be available soon.

Want more Glacier White accessories? Starting tomorrow, the DualShock 4 controller will be available in Glacier White.
