Sony announces Wonderbook and J.K. Rowling's Book of Spells

During Sony's E3 2012 press conference the company unveiled Wonderbook, a dedicated augmented reality platen for use with the PlayStation Move.

In a lengthy stage demo, Sony revealed the first title to be published for the platform will be Book of Spells.

The Harry Potter themed experience was written in part by author J.K. Rowling.

Sony said the initiative is the first product of a partnership with Pottermore, the online explorative social experience, and the book looked densely detailed.

Check out Sony's presentations on the platform and the book below. No release date was given for the new tech.
