Sony has announced the addition of Quests to its beta for the PlayStation Rewards Program.

To help users advance their status as Select, Pro or Legendary, Quests will "provide yet another fun way for members to participate and earn progress".

Quests are PlayStation-related activities Rewards members complete to add to the progress meter. To progress, participants can, as an example provided by the US PS Blog: "Earn progress for playing an eligible PlayStation Move game in the “Move It” quest, for watching PlayStation Network’s PULSE in HD on their PS3 system in the “Check Your Pulse” quest, or for visiting the Central Plaza in PlayStation Home in the “No Place Like Home” quest".

Nine Quests will be released in the beta today, and more will be added throughout the year.

Remember, in order to continue adding experience to your progress bar, just keep playing games, watch the PlayStation Network’s original programming, review games, play around in Home.

PlayStation Rewards will officially become available in April.

So far, this is still US only, but we bet it eventually happens on the other side of the ocean as well.
