Sonic Dash adds Dr. Eggman battle mode today

Sonic Dash has been invaded by Dr. Eggman in a new battle mode that sees players jumping and weaving around explosives and traps hurled by the portly buffoon.
In a press release, Sega confirmed that the new mode will come with online leaderboards, and starting February 21 there will be a new Sonic Dash global challenge that could unlock a new playable character, should players succeed.
