Speaking to videogaming247, a spokesperson for Konami in the UK has confirmed that Silent Hill V is planned for a Q4 release this year.

"Yes," said the rep when asked if the game would hit in 2008. "It's a generic Q4 at the moment."

Previously, no date had been put on the fifth instalment in Konami's flagship horror franchise.

More screens were also released today, this time a mix of PS3 and 360 shots.
