Free games. Awesome. There's a catch, though.

SCEE's announced that anyone who signs up for a year-long PlayStation Plus membership, beginning today and ending October 5, will get a free copy of Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty to keep. Forever.

The game was released as a PSN title in 2008, although did get a small-scale Blu-ray release soon after. It was developer Insomniac's third PS3-developed title at the time.

Sony's also announced the line-up for the service for the next two months. This month sees an hour-long full game trial of Warhawk and Oddworld: Abe's Odysee come included.

And in October, there's Gravity Crash and more.
