Some Shulk amiibo UK pre-orders being canceled; Mega Man, Sonic back in stock

A new batch of Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog amiibo are available for purchase on the Nintendo UK store, but it looks like those wanting Shulk are out of luck.

This applies to some customers who already pre-ordered the figure, only to have been notified by Nintendo their pre-order was cancelled.

"Nintendo UK can confirm that the Nintendo Official UK Store has had to cancel a very limited number of pre-orders for the Shulk amiibo," the firm told Nintendo Life. "Nintendo is in the process of contacting those customers affected and apologises for any inconvenience caused as a result of this."

While Nintendo didn't come right out and say it underestimated demand of the Shulk figurine, it appears that is the case, what with anticipation high for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D's release on 3DS in April.

Hopefully Nintendo will have more manufactured soon.
