Shenmue 3 PC minimum and recommended PC specs revealed
Ys Net has updated the set of Shenmue 3 PC requirements now that we're a bit more closer to launch.
Though the developer never officially published PC specs in the past for Shenmue 3, Kickstarter backers received emails with a set of minimum specs last month as a way of help them decide which platform to go for.
Those haven't changed, but Ys Net has now added the recommended specs for the game. These are significantly more demanding than the minimum requirements, in some cases strangely so. It's nothing too out of the ordinary for most games, though.
The only thing that continues to stick out is the 100GB free space requirement, which is true for both. See the two sets below:

- OS: Windows 7 x64, Windows 8 x64, Windows 10 x64 (64-bit OS Required)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 (3.40 GHz) or better; Quad-core or better
- RAM: 4GB RAM
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti or better (DirectX 11 card & VRAM 2GB Required)
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband internet connection
- Storage: 100 GB available space
- Sound card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

- CPU: Intel Core i7-7700 (3.60 GHz)
- RAM: 16GB RAM

- Sound card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
In other news, Ys Net recently confirmed it'll refund backers disappointed in the game going Epic exclusive. Shenmue 3 is due out November 19 on PC, and PS4.
