Shadowrun Returns developers announce Necropolis co-op, release date

Harebrained Schemes has hatched another one of its trademark rabbit-themed plans by revealing that its next game, Necropolis, will feature four-player co-op.

A release date for Necropolis was also set for March 17, with pre-orders going live on February 2.

Harebrained was apparently struck by a flash of inspiration when it realised that smashing monsters faces in is more fun with your friends than on your own.

"Everyone thought the game was a blast when we played it single-player, but we were blown away by how fun it is to attack the Necropolis with our friends," according to Harebrained Schemes Mitch Gitelman.

"If you think hanging out with your friends and whacking on monsters sounds like fun, then this is the game for you."
